The Burleson (Rufus Columbus) Collection is made up of at least twelve donations accepted from 1941 until 1982. These records were collected by Burleson and his descendants, friends, and colleagues. The collection includes business and personal correspondence, legal documents, financial records, a family photo album, newspaper clippings, books, diaries, ledgers, class rosters, sermons, advertisements, and students' essays. Correspondence comprises the bulk of the collection, highlighting Rufus Burleson's life journey, particularly his terms as president of Baylor University.
